A KJV church is simply a church that uses the King James Version of the Bible for its preaching, teaching, and reading. At Greenwood Bible Baptist, the King James Bible is the version you will hear from the pulpit and follow along in the pew.
We love the King James Bible for its faithfulness and its time-tested place in the lives of believers. Generations have learned the Scriptures, memorized verses, and grown in their walk with God using this translation, and we are glad to keep that heritage. "Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever" (Psalm 119:160).
You do not need to bring a King James Bible to visit, and you certainly do not need to be an expert. Bring whatever you have, or just come and listen. Our heart is for you to hear the Word of God clearly and to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
